MatchHub (iOS / watchOS app)

Your match records, player information and settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to our servers.

• No account and no sign-in are required
• Your records leave the device only when you export them yourself
• The app uses no analytics tools

Ads (version 1.1.1 and later)

MatchHub shows Google AdMob banner ads on the settings screen and the history screen. No ads are shown on the scoreboard during a match, and none on Apple Watch.

• To deliver ads and measure them, Google and its advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier), your IP address and information about how the app is used
• What is collected, and what it is used for, follows Google’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites)
• Where consent is required (for example in the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway), the app asks for your consent, and you can change it at any time from “Privacy settings” on the settings screen
• After you first open the app, iOS asks whether MatchHub may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Only if you allow it can ads be chosen for you with the advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
• Your match records, player information and notes are never sent for advertising

Scorebook by CuViu (web app)

Scorebook by CuViu (https://cuviu.jp/apps/scorebook/) is a baseball scorebook that runs in your browser.

• Your game records and what you enter, such as player and team names, are stored in your browser. They are not sent to our servers, except when you use “Send feedback” below
• When you use “Send feedback”, your message, the game you have open (including player names) and a screenshot are saved on our server and emailed to us. We use them only to look into your feedback and improve the app
• A team share URL contains the team roster, such as player names. The roster lives in the URL and is not stored on our servers. Anyone who receives the URL can see the roster, so take care whom you share it with
• Support payments are made on a page run by the payment service Stripe. Your card number is handled by Stripe and never reaches us. Through Stripe we receive your email address and a record of the payment (see “2. The personal information we collect”)
• Pages on cuviu.jp may show ads from Google AdSense. Scorebook by CuViu does not show ads. (see “5. Cookies”)
• We use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used (see “6. Analytics”). What you enter, such as player names, and the roster in a team share URL are not sent

Everything from “1. Who we are” onwards is about our website (cuviu.jp, including Scorebook by CuViu). It does not apply to MatchHub.

We may collect the following information in these cases:

• The contact form: your name, your email address and the content of your enquiry
• “Send feedback” in Scorebook by CuViu: your message, the game you have open (including player names) and a screenshot
• Support payments: through the payment service Stripe, your email address, a record of the payment (amount, date and so on) and, where entered on Stripe’s page, the billing name. Your card number never reaches us

We use the personal information we collect only for the following purposes.

• To reply to and deal with your enquiry
• To look into your feedback and improve Scorebook by CuViu
• To confirm and keep records of support payments, and to deal with questions about them
• To send you important notices about our services

We do not use it for any other purpose.

We do not provide or disclose the personal information we collect to third parties, except:

• with your consent
• where disclosure is required by law

5. Cookies

Our website may use cookies for the following purposes.

• Cookies the site needs to run: used for basic functions such as WordPress session handling.
• Advertising cookies: to deliver ads through Google AdSense, Google may issue code to your browser. You may then be shown ads that match your interests.
• Analytics cookies: used by Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see “6. Analytics”).

If you do not want cookies, you can turn them off in your browser settings, although some functions may then stop working properly.

6. Analytics

Our website, including Scorebook by CuViu, uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how it is used so that we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as:

• the pages you view and where you came from
• the type of device and browser, and your approximate region
• how often features in Scorebook are used (creating a game, exporting, the support buttons and so on)

What you enter, such as player and team names, the roster in a team share URL and the text of your feedback are not sent.

To stop Google Analytics from collecting your data, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We may also use Google Search Console to see how the website performs in search.

7. Looking after your information

We take appropriate security measures against the leakage, loss or alteration of the personal information we collect. Enquiries are deleted appropriately once they have been dealt with.

8. Disclosure, correction and deletion

If you ask us to disclose, correct or delete your personal information, we will confirm your identity and respond as far as is reasonable. Please get in touch through the contact form.

9. Disclaimer

We try to provide information on this site as accurately as we can, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate or safe, and we cannot accept responsibility for any loss arising from what is published here.

If you leave our site through a link or a banner, we take no responsibility for the information or services provided on the other site.

10. Changes to this policy

We may change this privacy policy when necessary. A changed policy takes effect when it is published on this page.
